Anita + Chris :: Engagement | Big Bear Lake, Ca

The lovely Anita and I just so happen to have the same hairdresser! So, when it came time for Anita and Chris to take their engagement photos, Nichol passed along my contact information. I am so grateful she did, because I had such a wonderful time getting to know both Anita and Chris up in beautiful Big Bear. Big Bear was where Chris proposed, and he even carved the date of the engagement on the bench that day. It was so neat to see the carving was still there.

 They are getting married in just a couple of months in Hawaii of all places! Congratulations to you both!

 

Terry Family :: Riverside

I was so happy when Matt contacted me recently about doing some updated family photos! You might remember, they were my very first clients! They took trust in me right after I bought my camera, and I'm so grateful!

Matt's son was in town this summer visiting, and they wanted to make sure to get some shots before he returned home out of state. It was so darn cute watching all the kids interact with one another. You can see the love and friendship this family has, and it was such a wonderful afternoon spending time with them all. What an absolute gorgeous family they are. Thank you again Matt & Michelle for having me along :) ... and most importantly, for laughing at me when I made all those silly noises to get the kid's attention!

Shannan + Eric :: Engagement | Placentia, Ca

I have known Shannan for a couple of years, as we used to work for the same ambulance company. You might recognize her from the session I did for her and her sister. We became pretty close friends, and would always have fun chats about the events in our lives. I was so incredibly happy when she met Eric, I could instantly tell she had a major attraction to him. I learned that was sweet to her, treated her well, and simply adored her for who she was, and I hadn't even met him yet. 

So, when I heard that he popped the question, I was so excited to do their engagement pictures. She borrowed her dad's 57 Bel Air, and we cruised to down to a historical house in the city of Placentia. This was actually the first time I got to meet Eric, and all I have to say is that they are COMPLETELY perfect for one other. I had so much fun just watching them enjoy each others company, flirt, laugh and play around.

... and did I mention she is 6'1" and he is like 6'7" !!! I love it!
