Anita + Chris :: Engagement | Big Bear Lake, Ca

The lovely Anita and I just so happen to have the same hairdresser! So, when it came time for Anita and Chris to take their engagement photos, Nichol passed along my contact information. I am so grateful she did, because I had such a wonderful time getting to know both Anita and Chris up in beautiful Big Bear. Big Bear was where Chris proposed, and he even carved the date of the engagement on the bench that day. It was so neat to see the carving was still there.

 They are getting married in just a couple of months in Hawaii of all places! Congratulations to you both!

 

Shannan + Eric :: Engagement | Placentia, Ca

I have known Shannan for a couple of years, as we used to work for the same ambulance company. You might recognize her from the session I did for her and her sister. We became pretty close friends, and would always have fun chats about the events in our lives. I was so incredibly happy when she met Eric, I could instantly tell she had a major attraction to him. I learned that was sweet to her, treated her well, and simply adored her for who she was, and I hadn't even met him yet. 

So, when I heard that he popped the question, I was so excited to do their engagement pictures. She borrowed her dad's 57 Bel Air, and we cruised to down to a historical house in the city of Placentia. This was actually the first time I got to meet Eric, and all I have to say is that they are COMPLETELY perfect for one other. I had so much fun just watching them enjoy each others company, flirt, laugh and play around.

Shavawn + Christopher :: Engagement | Temecula, Ca

My friend Shavawn is marrying her best friend Christopher in Jamaica on June 6th. It's going to be such a magical event. I was lucky enough to grab them for an evening to capture some fun engagement photos. We had a great time visiting the vineyards of Leonesse & Oak Mountain. I also managed to get Christopher to off-road a bit to this lovely field we spotted during our drive. Thank you for sharing your eveing with me, and I can't wait to witness your marriage on the gorgeous beach of Negril, Jamaica!



Taleah & James | Rancho Cucamonga

I was more than happy when Taleah had contacted me about shooting her engagement session. She is the sister-in-law of my friend Martha, whose family I took Christmas pictures of this year.

Engaged to be married in the middle of June, Taleah & James picked a great location with tons of color for their engagement photos. They are such a fun and loving couple, and I loved how Taleah let her "pet name" for James slip. Although, I'm not so sure Bunny loved it as much as I did :)
